Lazy Weekend

At least it seemed lazy to me, even though it also seemed like I was always trying to get something done yet nothing really got accomplished.  It was fun at the time, but as the long weekend winds down I’m kinda miffed at myself for being so scatter brained all weekend.  The worst thing was that I couldn’t find my key-codes for Sony Studio 8, which I wanted to re-install on my system to make some more YouTube videos.  When I tried to start the program it said it was … Continue reading

November Wrap Up

I’m a couple days late, but I’m still in recovery from Thanksgiving 😀  I did get a flat tire on the way home, so that was kind of a bummer, otherwise the trip up to Utah for the holiday was great!  As for the blog, here’s how my November shaped up.  My top pages were: EVE Mission Running with 46 views EVE – How To with 44 views Hellgate Mini-Game and other goodies a distant 3rd with 17 views Linux – still “ham radio” for your computer with 12 views  Making A Tarot … Continue reading

Music on a Theme – “Venom”

Ok, so the last time I did my “Music on a Theme” post it was about “Love Songs.” From the same cache of cassettes where I found my Love Songs tapes, there were also some that were compiled in what you might call the aftermath of love. Unfortunately, none of these cassettes have dates on them, so I’ll just have to guess from the music that’s on them.  I’m pretty sure I made them … Continue reading

Music on a Theme – “Love”

I’ve always been one of those folks that arranges musical recordings based on a theme.  I was going through a bunch of my old audio cassettes (anybody remember those?), and found a  box of 15 “themed” cassettes.  They’re all “emotionally” themed works, with titles like: Venom, Nostalgic, Love Songs, etc. I’ll probably make it a project to replicate all of these into WMP “play lists” eventually.  I think I already did it for a pair of cassettes I recorded featuring Annie Lennox/The Eurythmics; One called Love, & the other called … Continue reading

Making Movies

Well I’ve been trying to put together my FSX/TileProxy/FRAPS videos together into a singular “music video” type format to upload to YouTube and all I have to say so far is that it has been somewhat of an exercise in frustration.  FSX and TileProxy work fine, FRAPS works fine, what’s being a thorn in my side is the video editing lack-ware that I’ve been trying to use – namely Windows Movie Maker (which is pretty lame) and some version of Nero that came with one of my DVD burners (and … Continue reading
