It’s been a very busy year since September when I started my new job at a local high school. Besides assisting with their college level courses I’ve been in charge of a small computer club, and that has kept me far busier than I anticipated. So the second batch of tarot decks I had on order have arrived! I do still have 2 or 3 on their way from Europe, but I believe all of the decks I ordered from domestic (USA) sources have arrived. These decks arrived via delivery van this week. I was feeling nostalgic with a bit of cat fancy thrown in for good measure when I ordered this group 🙂 The New Palladini Tarot is a deck by the same author who did the Aquarian Tarot back in the 1970s. The Cosmic Tarot is appropriately ‘trippy,’ and the Tarot of Pagan Cats is just one of those fun decks one has to have if they’re a cat owner and card reader, such is the case for moi. So I bought a new digital video camera a month or so ago and lately I’ve really taken to making a bunch of “show-n-tell” style videos featuring various tarot decks that I have in my collection. With each video, I’ve tried to keep some kind of consistent ‘subject’ that ties all of the various decks together in some way.
