So busy that I haven’t been keeping up with my posting here – which may get me on Santa’s Naughty List, hehe. Mostly I’ve been busy trying to get a couple web sites up and running for some clients. I say Yuletide for several reasons. I’m not a Christian – in fact I’m an Atheist. Christians bastardized the real “Reason for the Season” superimposing their own swindle over the original holidays. There are plenty of great reasons to celebrate without the mythical embellishments. I still put up and decorate tree, hang wreaths and garlands, listen to holiday music and exchange gifts and goodies with friends and family. So I finally got CoD4 installed last weekend and played it through. I did enjoy it somewhat, but it seemed a bit short. I was done with it in just a few nights play-time. I was hoping it would last at least a week or so, but oh well. Ok, so the last time I did my “Music on a Theme” post it was about “Love Songs.” From the same cache of cassettes where I found my Love Songs tapes, there were also some that were compiled in what you might call the aftermath of love. Actually I made this request once before many, many years ago as part of a “Queer Nation” demonstration, but since it didn’t have all of the particulars (like baptism date, confirmation date, etc. etc.) “The Church™” didn’t honor the request.
