I’ve been a bit out of touch the last week or so.  My dad died just over a week ago (July 19), so I’ve been out of sorts in many different ways.  I’ll probably post the dedication/tribute that I read at his funeral – anyways, we’ll see how it goes – it’s been a bummer of a week.  The family had been planning a get-together at my folks last week, so it was just that much harder that we didn’t get to see dad that one last time. It was totally unexpected – my folks had just been to Hawaii over Father’s Day with my sister, and they had a full physical before the trip and no problems were found – so who knows. 

Anyways, hope y’all hug your parents today, or at least give ’em a call and tell them you love them.
