New Tarot Decks – 2nd Batch

So the second batch of tarot decks I had on order have arrived!  I do still have 2 or 3 on their way from Europe, but I believe all of the decks I ordered from domestic (USA) sources have arrived.  After I started going through them, I noted that three of the decks (nearest the top in the photo below) are quite outside the norm. Here is what I got: The Tarocco Bizzarro is just that, very strange and cartoonish, but that’s the main reason I got it – because it is so different. More Decks Arrived

These decks arrived via delivery van this week.  I was feeling nostalgic with a bit of cat fancy thrown in for good measure when I ordered this group 🙂 The New Palladini Tarot is a deck by the same author who did the Aquarian Tarot back in the 1970s.  The Cosmic Tarot is appropriately ‘trippy,’ and the Tarot of Pagan Cats is just one of those fun decks one has to have if they’re a cat owner and card reader, such is the case for moi. Busy Weekend

But it seems I don’t have much to show for it!  I did get a new YouTube video posted about some useful photo equipment to have if you want to do macro photography.  I had planned to also have a video of my photo shoot where I was actually using said equipment, however the mic wasn’t actually plugged in while making that video, so I will have to re-do that one.  Oh well, I need the practice anyway, so that’s at least something.  Once I get that done, I really … Continue reading

Dropped Amazon Prime

I never thought I’d do it, but after today’s terrible service, I just can’t see paying a premium for sub-par service. So I’ve stopped my ‘auto-subscribe’ to Amazon Prime.  And it hasn’t been just a one-off experience.  Ever since the beginning of 2013, AmazonPrime has been far LESS than the Prime service it used to be, as I’ve mentioned before. Today, I made four orders before 8AM (over $500 worth).  From past experience, I know all of these items are being shipped from nearby hubs (Phoenix, Las Vegas, Reno, and … Continue reading
