February was kind of a schizoid month for me. It was extraordinarily busy at work and it didn’t seem like I had as much leisure time as I remember having in the past. I didn’t feel like I achieved much of anything on any of my personal projects – just work, work, work. Which I guess is an ok thing in this economy. I did get a few fun things moving forward though, if only a little. In my writing, I started fleshing out character “back-story” for each of my major … Continue reading

So there’s apparently a game of “tag” where when you’re “it” you’re supposed to post the sixth picture from your sixth folder of photo folders. So I got curious as to what that would be in my collection. My sixth folder was “2004June,” and the photo is: I used to live about a mile or two North of this spot, and I remember this trip ‘cuz on the way down from this ridge I got a flat tire and I didn’t have a spare! YAY! Oh well, at least it wasn’t … Continue reading
I’ve actually been getting a few things done through the week that I was hoping I would be able to. I’ve started writing out character bio’s for my novel’s main characters and I’ve also been doing a little bit of gaming here and there to boot! I created a cheerleader villain (aren’t they all?) named “Snobbie Bobbie”, complete with the “Pink Pom-Poms of Death/Doom.” And a leopard themed toon as well, which I did … Continue reading
It was a pretty non-descript weekend. I slept in quite late both Saturday and Sunday, so I didn’t get a whole lot done, and it made the weekend seem to go even faster than normal I guess. I did get some quality time in on City of Heroes on Saturday evening, so that was cool. A group of us decided to start all new heroes and go on a badge collecting binge, culminating in Positron’s story arc, which took us appx. 4 hours to complete the whole storyline, and most … Continue reading
The other day I was posting over on TAGN’s blog about how cool a particular mining implant was for mining foremen and fleet mining ops. I hinted that when I’m mining multi-box that I use my foreman in a command ship (currently a Hurricane, working towards a Claymore), my miner is in a Hulk, and that I have a dedicated hauler (currently piloting a Mammoth). Of course this brought all kinds of jeers from the peanut gallery that if you’re going to multi-box mine, you should be flying all Hulks. … Continue reading
