It was a pretty non-descript weekend. I slept in quite late both Saturday and Sunday, so I didn’t get a whole lot done, and it made the weekend seem to go even faster than normal I guess. I did get some quality time in on City of Heroes on Saturday evening, so that was cool. A group of us decided to start all new heroes and go on a badge collecting binge, culminating in Positron’s story arc, which took us appx. 4 hours to complete the whole storyline, and most … Continue reading

The other day I was posting over on TAGN’s blog about how cool a particular mining implant was for mining foremen and fleet mining ops. Well I won’t be doing any Valentine’s goofiness, I’m an old school nerdy gamer so I’m not allowed to have that kind of social life 😀 hehe. But I bet I will take a peek in on some of my game titles – esp. since all three of my EVE characters will be finishing up some major training landmarks this weekend. Nab finishes Astrometrics 5 and will move on to Electronics Upgrades 5 so he can join Marko’s Hound in a Covert Ops Cheetah. Marko will finish up Propulsion Jamming 5 and … Continue reading
I’ve sort of been watching from the sidelines the latest row between The Ancient Gaming Noob and Syncaine about World of Warcraft (WoW) and Warhammer; Age of Reckoning (WAR). Really it all boils down to personal preferances and playstyles. For example, TAGN has a very cool entry about how his mother and his daughter (and himself) are all able to play WoW together. And I think that is very cool. But does that make games where grandmas, sons and granddaughters cannot play together bad? Would they make a great football team? No. … Continue reading
