Ok, so I’ve been thinking about this off-and-on since I first started playing Oblivion way back whenever it first came out and I saw a sword or some other piece of loot go sliding halfway down the mountain… I immediately thought to myself, “Hmm, I wonder if the physics engine in this game is good enough to make a roller coaster, or at least an ‘alpine slide.'” And of course something bright and shiny caught my eye and I shelved the idea.
It keeps popping up in the back of my mind though, and I wonder if any “world-builders” out there have ever tried to make such a beast with the TES Construction Set. I tried google’ing for it, but all I got was the roller coaster named “Oblivion” in merry ole England (Alton Towers amusement park). If I had tonnage of time I’d try to do it myself, but I’d have to learn the Construction Set first and then how to make objects, and… forget it, it’d take me two years just to figure out all that stuff LOL!
Anyways, just something that’s been tickling the back of my brain for awhile… as you can see, it don’t take much 😛
Interesting thought.
If you ever come across such a mod, or create one yourself, let me know, and we could discuss it on the Bethesda Blog.
