As much as I hoped to make some real headway on the packing and other moving preparations, I didn’t get hardly anything done in that arena. I ended up reading a couple of books instead, and playing a bit of Warhammer here and there. The books were most excellent, however. So I find it really odd how uncomfortable I am with empty bookcases. Suddenly I feel like I need to look stuff up and dig into my boxes of books to find something in particular, even though I’ve never noticed feeling that way over the past year or so! Packing up in preparation to move – again – has once again shown me how many books I have. I could practically open up my own library! And maybe someday I will have a house where I can actually have a study/library. That would be a dream come true, to be honest. With the distinct possibility that I won’t be able to find a decent IT job anytime soon, the prospect of moving up to my Mom’s farm is looking not only interesting, but even attractive.
