And picking up the U-Haul tomorrow. Writing from my laptop perched on top of a bunch of boxes. Hopefully everything will go smoothly over the next couple of days; loading, driving, unloading, unpacking essentials, etc. The blog will probably be pretty slow until I get some stuff unpacked and I get into some kind of routine. The packing is still progressing. Only the kitchen left to do and of course all of the other odd-and-ends. Most of the other rooms are fully packed and ready to go. Today the apt. manager is doing a pre-walk-through, so they’ll be treated to a fairly large disaster since I haven’t started doing ANY cleaning at all. Hopefully they won’t freak out too bad. I still have three computer systems to pack up as well, plus the entertainment center – but I usually do that at the very last moment … Continue reading
But of course I’m still behind. I’m not getting nearly as much stuff done over the weekends as I would like to concerning the move prep. This time I started running low on boxes, so instead I just tried to bring a little organization to the move by relocating already packed boxes and emptied bookcases so they will (hopefully) be easier to move when the time comes.
